Larry Ulrich the king of stock photography!  Larry Ulrich began his career in photography selling at street fairs and craft shows throughout the West Coast. When he discovered that publishers would buy his images for books and calendars, he quit lugging around prints and frames to shoot stock images fulltime. Teamwork is essential to Larry's photography. His wife Donna travels along as a second set of eyes and chief field critic. They have been making a living with a camera since 1972, often traveling 200 days a year together. Larry and Donna's most recent books include Wildflowers of California, Wildflowers of the Plateau and Canyon Country, Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest and Beyond the Golden Gate: California's North Coast from Companion Press, and Big Sur to Big Basin: California's Dramatic Central Coast from Chronicle Books.

This month's featured photographer is a local team from Michigan. 

Brad Reed and his  father, Todd Reed, have two galleries located in Ludington and Pentwater Michigan.  They recently published yet another book called "Lake Michigan - Point to Point".   

Todd previously worked for the Ludington Daily News, where he received many awards.  Brad is following in his footsteps.  Together, they have produced a book that will inspire you to go to see Lake Michigan like you haven't in the past!

Previous books are: Todd Reed: Ludington Point to Point (sold out), and The Nature of Success (Todd Reed teamed up with Mac Anderson, the founder of the motivational poster company, Successories, to help produce The Nature of Success, a 125-page hardcover book that combines wonderful, easy to read prose written by Mac Anderson, and elegant photographs captured by Todd Reed and Ken Jenkins).
