Program Nights:
Once a month, usually on the 4th Monday of the month, a program night is
scheduled. This night is usually dedicated to learning or some other
special event.
Examples of prior program nights are:
- A lecture on How To Judge Photographs
- A photo shoot of flowers with artificial lighting.
- A demonstration on how to prepare prints for competition.
- A demonstration on how to cut mat boards when framing photos.
- A lecture on shooting photos at night.
- How to prepare digital photographs for club competitions.
- How to edit photos in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Elements.
As the club adopts new technology for the Electronic Imaging Division (EID),
new ideas have been identified for program nights:
- How to organize your digital photos so you can find what you have.
- Photoshop - Fundamentals
- Photoshop - Workspace & Navigation
- Photoshop - Selections
- Photoshop - Dodge & Burn
- Photoshop - Working with Layers
- Photoshop - Automating with Actions
- PC Color Management
