Color Slide 2x2 Slide:  Slides must be 35mm in cardboard, plastic, or glass mounts of 2 x 2 inches.  Members compete in two categories:  General Slide and Assignment. 2 1/4 Slide: There is only a General competition (no Assignment).   Prints Color Prints - any color image printed by the photographer using any available process or commercially printed; hand colored images; digital prints may include manipulation. Monochrome Prints - may be printed by the photographer using any available process or commercially printed; prints that are B&W with shades of gray and up to 1 additional color; prints that are "toned" (1 color) with up to one additional color; hand colored with only 1 color; digital prints may include manipulation. Digital Projection Division  Launched in January 2005, digital competitions are viewed and judged with a projector on a screen. Definition An “Electronic Image” is a computer file that was created via capture through a digital camera; or film based camera where the negative or transparency was scanned. The initial image must have been captured by the photographer as well as any subsequent images that may be added to the composition.
