No, the skill levels of the members range from beginner to professional.

When you are ready. We encourage guests to visit as often as they would like.

Competition, however, is limited to dues paying members. Membership in MCCC also gives you some discount benefits with some retailer, "show your card".

No…however, our friendly competition is painless. The photographer/maker is

great learning tool.

6. I belong to a GDCCC club that does not have EID competitions.  Can I submit electronically and compete in your club?

GDCCC club members:

In order to help other GDCCC club members shooting digital images, Motor City Camera Club would like to invite members of any GDCCC Camera Club to compete in our EID competition.  This invitation is  only  if your club does not presently have EID competition.  EID is growing and we understand that many clubs can not or will not be having EID competitions due to the costs.  We hope by opening up our competition, members can maintain their membership to their own clubs and still compete in EID

The Cost for any Council Camera Club member will be $10. for the 2005-06 season. (MCCC membership dues are $45.)  This $10. EID membership fee will entitle the EID member full MCCC awards, privileges and judging opportunities regarding EID competition only.

All EID competitions are entered via email and winners will be posted each month on our web site.

7.  I am not from the Detroit area, and I do not belong to a GDCCC club, can I compete in your EID competitions remotely?

Non-GDCCC (Greater Detroit Camera Club Council) club members:

EID competition at Motor City Camera Club is open to any digital photographer that is interested in entering in such competitions.  Attending meeting is not required to compete.  Membership dues of $45.00 are required for our 2005-06 season starting September 2005.

Club membership dues must be paid before any competition is entered.  The $45.00 dues can be mailed to:  MCCC c/o John Slocum, 4291 Wabeek  Lake Dr., Bloomfield, MI  48302.  Any questions regarding your dues you can call John at 248.539.0227.
