NOTICE: All classes, excursions, and speakers are canceled through the end of April to align with the Governor's order regarding gatherings. Our monthly competition on May 4th will be held via virtual meeting software.
The Motor City Camera Club (MCCC) resides in Bloomfield Township, MI - a northern suburb of Detroit. We meet on the 1st Monday (except holidays) from September 1 through May 31, competing amongst ourselves with Prints and Digital Projected images. Motor City Camera Club is a member of the Greater Detroit Camera Club Council and compete against 10+ other GDCCC member clubs.
MCCC prides itself on being a "teaching club" where we critique and discuss member images, giving tips on how to improve the images. With 60+ current members, you get to see great images from all over the world. The photographer can explain where they shot the image, how they got there and what kind of equipment they used to capture the photograph.
Throughout the year the club also engages in photo field trips, classes, and guest speakers (Schedule of season events). We are always learning, creating and enjoying the various aspects of photography. It can be a hobby, a passion, a profession or a life long learning quest - whatever your story is.
Guests are welcome anytime!
